Step 1
Add sliced onion, green chilli and coriander to a bowl
Step 2
Add salt and mix well. Let is rest for a few mins so that the onion leaves water.
Step 3
Add all remaining ingredients and mix well
Step 4
Add a few spoons of water to the mixture to make a wet batter. Batter should have just enough water to bind the ingredients together. It should not become too watery.
Step 5
Heat oil and add spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil to fry.
Step 6
Fry till golden brown and serve hot with ketchup, green chutney or raita
