Step 1
Soak the white rice and parboiled rice for 3-4 hours.then,take it in a mixer grinder after cleaning well.add coconut grated,cumin seeds,fennel seeds,shallots and salt.grind it well adding little water.
Step 2
Transfer the grinded rice into a mixing ball.make it a thick dough by adding enough rice powder.
Step 3
Once we get a perfect rice dough,take small balls of it and flatten it.
Step 4
get ready with your steamer.steam cook this flattened pathiries for 15-20 minutes on medium flame.
Step 5
Once it is well cooked,turn off the flame and allow it to cool.
Step 6
now take a mixing bowl.add red chilli powder,turmeric powder and salt.make it a fine paste adding little water.
Step 7
Transfer the steam cooked pathiries into this and mix well.
Step 8
finally,fry this pathiries in vegetable oil till it becomes well fried.
