Step 1
Set the instant pot to saute mode and once its hot, add Ghee.
Step 2
Add cumin seeds and hing to it. Wait for around 30 seconds and then add curry leaves. Saute for around 30 seconds.
Step 3
Add garlic and onions to it. Saute for a few minutes.
Step 4
Add tomatoes, turmeric, red chilly powder and saute for another few minutes.
Step 5
Add washed moong dal and salt. Add water to consistency.
Step 6
Switch off instant pot saute mode and switch on manual mode. Set it to 4 minutes at high pressure.
Step 7
Let the pressure release manually. Add lemon juice from half a lemon to it.
