Step 1
 Cut lauki to small cubes and add this to water along with slit green chillies, turmeric and salt. Close the lid and have this to boil till lauki is soft. Keep it aside till it cools down
Step 2
 For tempering, heat oil till its hot and add mustard seeds. When this splutters, add jeera and urad dal. Saute till urad dal is slightly brown. Switch off the heat and add curry leaves and dry red chillies and add this. Add this to the boiled lauki. 
Step 3
 Add yogurt to this and mix well. Enjoy with rice
