Step 1
 Heat sesame oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, fenugreek seeds. Let all the seeds crackle. 
Then add curry leaves and mix well.
Step 2
 Now add cut okra to the pan and fry them.  After 2-3 minutes, add sambar powder, pepper powder, cumin powder and red chilli powder and salt. 
Step 3
 In the 3rd step add tamarind paste along with required amount of water. Then add a small piece of jaggery to the mixture. Let it boil well. 
Step 4
 Vathakuzhambu is ready. Serve hot with rice.
