soak poppy seeds in 4 tbsp water for 20 minutes.

Step 1
Take a pan n add 1 tbsp oil.Add to it cinnamon,cloves,cardomom n star anise. saute for sometime n add garlic flakes. Add ginger,red chillies,fennelseeds,coriander seeds,pepper n curry leaves.Also add cumin seeds.Saute well. Cool it n powder in mixie.After powdering it add little water n grind to a smooth paste.
Step 2
Keep the first grinded item aside Grind coconut n soaked poppy seeds to a fine paste. Keep the second grinded item aside.
Step 3
Take a vessel add oil.Add to it mustard,curry leaves n chopped onions. saute till onions turn golden brown. Add turmeric n saute well Add the first item grinded n mix well..Also add little water.
Step 4
Add chopped potatoes n tomato.Close the lid n cook in low flame for 8 minutes. open n add the second grinded item.Mix well n close the lid n cook for 5 minutes.When it starts boling well add coconut oil of 2 tbsp n add coriander leaves. Close the lid n cook in low flame for 10 minutes. serve hot with chapatis or rice.
